Hamlin Plantation is one of the nicest communities in all of Charleston SC, not just Mount Pleasant SC. Featuring a huge pool with water slide, club house, and tennis courts Hamlin Plantation has become of the most desired premier developments in all of Charleston and Mt Pleasant SC. As far as real estate for sale in Hamlin Plantation is concerned, many of the properties in the community were built by only a few builders. The Waverly and The Madison sections of Hamlin Plantation were built by John Wieland Homes out of Atlanta, and unfortunately, both were involved in a construction defect law suit. The townhomes in the Waverly section luckily settled recently for $7.2M, and the Madison section’s suit has not yet closed.
