Dunes West Mount Pleasant SC Homes for sale

Dunes West is one of my favorite Mount Pleasant SC golf communities because it has a great golf course, the homes are finely appointed, there are varying price points for property, and it’s close to Wando High School. Considered one of Charleston’s best gated communities, Dunes West is located about 20 mins from what locals call the heart of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina near the town center and the Isle of Palms connector (the closest beach). I would consider Dunes West to me a mega development in that it is a huge neighborhood with many smaller “offshoot” subdivisions (sub-sections) within its community. The features a clubhouse for entertaining large events, large community pools with a slide, tennis courts, condos and waterfront real estate on the river for those who like boating, crabbing and fishing from their backyard. It’s “sister” neighborhood Rivertowne Country Club is directly across the street and offers much of the same lifestyle and home styles but without the guard gate. If you wish to build your own new house there are still lots for sale in Dunes West Country Club.
