Probably the most beloved of Charleston’s golf communities, there are 6 golf courses on Kiawah Island: FAMOUS Ocean Course (Featured in the movie Legend of Bagger Vance, Golf Digest #4 Public Golf Course in U.S., Home to 2012 PGA Championship, 2007 Senior PGA, 2003 World Golf Championships, 1991 Ryder Cup, 2001 UBS Cup, and countless celebrity charity events), Osprey Point, Cougar Point, Turtle Point, Oak Point, Cassique (Private) and ALL of them are absolutely flawlessly stunning courses with varying degrees of difficulty. Please feel free to find homes on these golf courses in the Kiawah Island resort community. With the exception of Cassique all the other courses are open to the public, but are pricey, averaging $200+ per round but it’s worth it, because I doubt you’ve played courses as gorgeous and well maintained as any of these.
