New construction homes for sale Charleston SC come in many forms, and new construction isn’t for the faint of heart. There are essentially three main types of new construction, 
but the one most used by Americans are tract homes in large developments where you purchase a home from the builder with the lot, they build it, and you buy it from them. Large national and regional home builders prefer to conduct their business in this manner and the public likes it, but there are a lot of things you need to be aware of. Builders such as DR Horton, Pulte, Toll Brothers, Lennar, John Weiland, David Weekley, Mungo Homes, Ashton Woods, Frontdoor, Beazer, and Ryan Homes purchase large plats of land and subdivide them into lots for sale and then offer a number of floor plans and designs for buyers to do a “contract build”. This way buyers who want new do not have to go through the hassle of doing custom which is much more involved, more expensive and time-consuming.
